SHARE YOUR FIREWORK PHOTOGRAPHS WITH UKFR READERS
If you have any fireworks related photographs, why not share
them with other UKFR readers? Whatever they are, from photos
of your consumer fireworks through to big events and displays,
you'll find an eager and grateful audience here.
|
There are two easy ways to share your firework pictures:
 |
Upload your
photos to the busy forum
This is a great way to instantly share your
pictures and is particularly suitable if you only
have a few pictures or like to upload little and
often. You can:
- Upload
your photos directly to your forum posts as
file attachments.
- Upload
your photos to your forum picture album.
- Upload
your photos to your own website or a picture
service like Flickr, and link to your work in
a forum post.
To access the forum, click here: Fireworks
Forum. If you have not already done so, you
will need to register in the forum so you can
post.

Submit your
photos to the UKFR Gallery
If you would like your photos to have a more
permanent home, the UKFR Gallery can showcase
your work to all of the site's readers. Any firework
related subject is considered for inclusion, use
existing member
galleries as a guide to the diverse range
of subjects welcomed.
Please note the following:
- You MUST
own the copyright to any images submitted.
- Submission
of any material is considered acceptance that
you grant UKFR non-exclusive and royalty free
permission to host and display your work.
- Photographs
must be of reasonable quality. You don't need
to be David Bailey but they should at least
be in focus.
- The Editor's
decision on whether to accept any or all of
your submissions is final.
- Please
ensure your images are named with short filenames
(eg. image01.jpg, image02.jpg); do not use descriptive
filenames like "picture of a large shell.jpg".
Images are uploaded in strict name order so
should be named in the same sequence as you
wish them to appear.
- Images
do not need to be resized - the Gallery will
scale them to the optimum size, but it would
help if they are all the right way up.
- Images
should not contain any overlaid text, logos
or URLs without clearing this with the Editor
first.
- If you
would like a description to be added to your
Gallery or captions added to each photo, please
include these in a plain text file.
- If your
images or ZIP file is very large ( > 20Mb),
you can split them into smaller archives and
send them in separate emails, or contact the
Editor if you would like to submit your photos
on a CD or DVD.
- All contributions
remain copyright to the original author. UKFR
does not require or ask for a transfer of copyright.
To submit your photos to the Gallery, you should
put them all together into a ZIP file and email
them to the editor (see the Contact
UKFR page).
