If they do that and kill thier own live stock im sure they would be angry with themselves. However if someone else leaves the wire in thier field from a lantern its another matter and i`m sure they will be even more annoyed!
I like lanterns dont get me wrong, but if we have the ability to make ones without wire, then lets use those, i dont know where my last pack came from as they were a gift but they were marketed as such, no wire, biodegradeable, it was a type of string that held the fuel cell in place....
