Default Any New Epic Fireworks for 2010

Hello Folks.
I know Epic come on here sometimes perphaps they can answer. I thought 2009 was a bit disappointing by there standard they put a lot of videos up on youtube as new for 2009 but not many turned up for sale. I know King Hell turned up late in the year but IMHO it was not a patch on what it was pretended to replace the old Hercules and Colour Storm was ok. They have a lot of videos going on youtube as new for 2010 i hope some do make it to there shop. Also there is one called Flip Mode which is the old brothers Airboss and one called Chemical X which is the old Open Fire are they getting these if not why put them youtube.
Can they say what they are getting new this year and when.

On a positive side they have some great pieces but i just want some new ones and not just videos.

Happy Days
Bernard.

Hi Bernard,

Thank you for your views, it’s always very interesting for us to receive feedback from forum members, we value it very highly.

First things first, we have a lot of new products, barrages and rockets mainly, that will definitely be hitting the shelves this year. Production has started and we expect them to be in the UK for summertime.

Second things second, well spotted for Flip Mode and Chemical X, these are indeed manufactured for us by Brothers Pyrotechnics and are exactly the same as the original Air Boss and Open Fire. Since the regulation changes we were keen to continue bringing in 1.3G fireworks (we do like a loud bang). We have always liked Brothers Pyrotechnics products and asked them to make them again, this time under our own label. They were very happy to help us.

Third things third, we were also disappointed with the 2009 seasons range, we apologise for getting anyone’s hopes up. As you are no doubt sick of hearing there was a bit of a recession on last year and sadly we did feel the pinch like everyone else. Disappointing, however it is another storm weathered and we live to fight another day.

Fourth things fourth, we like fireworks, a lot. We use You Tube to put anything we think is cool on. Not only what we sell. We have hundreds of You Tube videos of shells, stash videos, china videos, even our dog Bruce messing around with hoses (YouTube - Live Footage - Red Back Anaconda Vs German Shepherd - WARNING NOT FOR THE YOUNG). For the items in our range check our website and our blog which is updated regularly and will name the items that will be sold in the future.

Last things last, thank you very much again Bernard for your comments, we will take them on board and try to make sure that our You Tube videos are better titled to give you a clearer picture of what’s going on, we also very much appreciate you saying we were not up to our “usual standards” as we know you and everyone of our customers have come to expect only the best from us and we want to deliver nothing but the best. Keep an eye on our blog to see exactly what fireworks will be arriving on British shores this year and any further comments and questions will always be warmly welcomed.

Thanks guys.

Excuse me for jumping on your thread but can Epic give us an update as to their proposed new shop down here in the South?

Epic replied to a post of mine (on another forum I believe) stating that a Southern shop was on the cards for 2010.

Time for an update please gents?
