Default Chinese lanterns photo

Good night for lanterns, so we launched three to try and show their flight paths. One goes off the top of the shot then rejoins the other two. It's interesting to see how they veer about, but on this attempt they did not climb very high. Despite what it looks like, there were only three lanterns in this shot making these trails. The white bits in the sky are the stars which moved during the shot.

Great photo. Did you launch all three at the same time, or one after the other?

Yes, a great photo. I'd be interested to know technical details such as aperture, shutter duration etc

Indeed it is a very fascinating photo - nice wide lens i see with the warp of the fence! You could almost put that in as art!!

Although i assume its you releasing them Pete, who ever it is, it looks like ya hugging a bonfire lol

Nice! Similarly, would like to know what settings you had?
