Default Why do people feel the need

To Complain at every given opportunity. After a recent display, I received a phone call from the venue saying they had a neighbour who has logged a complaint, he the neighbour, suggested that the show he was annoyed by was in fact full of illegal pyro as the breaks and the noise content from the aerial effects was much greater than British stamped stuff lol. He said it came to his attention when he was rocked from his bed by one of them lol. He went on to say, that due to the illegal nature of the products the local wild life would have been severely disturbed.
At this point I switched of
What complaints have people had bolted onto them that make them smile. As a professional I must be pro active and act on such complaints in a dignified manor and I do , but would love to hear what you guys have heard. I have more and will share when the ball is rolling so to speak.

i had one where after the display some man came over in a threatning mannor saying fireworks are only allowed november 5th and we were breaking the law because of the noise at 8pm, he went on to say his dog is really unhappy. He then went on to say we must hate our lives doing firework displays and we should get a real job like sure arter every display i feel like slashing my wrist lol.

the thing is the event organisers had the courtesy to push letters though the door for all locals (letting them know) and yet theres always one that wants to cause trouble.

Dogs yes, I had the police turn up once after a show, I was clearing up and the police said they had many calls complaining that bombs were going off or we were under attack, they then both started laughing and said one guy kept phoning through out the duration of the show giving a running commentary on how his 4 elderly dogs where running round the house collapsing out of fright and crapping everywhere including up and down the stairs when they stopped falling down them lol. Not funny I know but it makes me smile picturing the story of his dogs unfold, luckily the dogs were ok after and a tad lighter, with the only damage being on the carpet

I've had a woman complain to me that her dog was "traumatised & depressed " following a firework display we did in Leyland. Having listened to her for some 15mins on the phone, I can honestly say I don't think that it is the fireworks that are the problem for the dog............

Was it the one on Saturday? If so tell him his neighbors seemed to enjoy the show.
And the noise of the fireworks was drowned out by that of an alarm on some poncy sports car
