Default Knebworth sonisphere festival

If anyone is going too this event make sure you see Rammstein on stage as there promising a hugh pyrotechnics show.

Knebworth prepares to rock to the sound of Rammstein, Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden - News - The Comet

Not too noisy I hope! Knebworth Park is a "quiet" venue for pyro . We can't even use bombette cakes there! Comet cakes/candles, fish effects, single shots and mines is about it.

Personally I'll be going along on Sunday to see Maiden - not sure who else to see on the multiple stages, though, as I've not heard of (m)any of the other bands...

If it's a quiet venue for pyro someone made a mahoosive cock up booking an industrial metal band from Germany famed for their volume and amount of pyro used ...not to mention the very large dildo

Drove past the site on Saturday..... acres and acres of tents surrounded by acres and acres of bone-dry stubble fields ! Not a good combination for pyro, though Rammstein are well known for 'damping down' the stage as only they can

Front row, centre for Rammstein at Sonisphere =D These guys are one of the main reasons I wanted to get into pyrotechnics.

I even managed to get their set/pyro-list =]]]

Is their music actually any good though, or do they just have a good stage show?

Sorry, don't wish to be rude but pop over to iTunes and have a listen and you can make your own mind up

**edit** re-reading that and it sounds pretentious, sorry not meant too, it's just I can't tell you if it's any good, I know I like it but people will quickly assume a like or dislike based on a description without ever hearing something, hence the recommend to have a listen.

Oh and you may have already seen them and not known it...they're the band in one of the nightclub scenes in 'XXX', playing "Feuer Frei"....with lots and lots of flames being blown everywhere
