Don't forget the storage regs

1.4G:

* Up to 5kg NEC - store for an unlimited time.
* Up to 50kg NEC - store for up to three weeks.
* Up to 250kg NEC - store for up to three days.

1.3G:

* Up to 5kg NEC - store for an unlimited time.
* Up to 100kg NEC - store for up to three days.

Note: Where there is a mix of 1.4G and 1.3G fireworks they are treated as if they were all 1.3G.

Storing Fireworks

You'll probably be OK with those weight limits, but the "mix 1.4G and 1.3G = ALL 1.3G" rule can catch you out.

Do you have an official store, for which you pay an annual licence fee to your local authorities/trading standards??

If you are buying fireworks not in their UN cartons then as a rule of thumb most reasonable sized fireworks (i.e. single ignition style) will have an NEQ of about 1kg. If the item is in a UN carton then the NEQ should be on the box. If you do not have proof of the NEQ then trading standards take the view that 25% of the GW is the NEQ.

I notice quite a lot of new stuff has been put on the website of the last few weeks. Good to see a lot of stuff at lower price levels. Lots of 24 shot barrages which will be great because I'll be on a tight budget for our family display this year.

Has the shop in Batley closed now? Does Bruce now reside in Sheffield and does he still like sausage rolls?!?

Also noticed a possible mis-price: Magic Stars - £0.78 - Seems too good to be true!

I think I can say with some certainty that Bruce still likes sausage rolls

The magic stars are wrong I've asked a while back, the video does not match up either. I'm sure it will get sorted out soon when all the other videos go up
