The first four and a half minutes were a complete waste of my life, and i will never get them back! The display build up was cool though

Agreed. And anyway, isn't it more fun to grab various tracks and sounds off the net and special effects CDs and build your own personal build up track? That could almost be a little competition on the forum...... design a ten second intro......

Nah, I got the best one ever last week......

"Andy!...Andy!....Andy!
Bought a tear to my eye (or was that the smoke?)

Worse one was on a Spyrotechnics show, where the client started the audience doing a count UP!

She started at "one" and began counting, so we had no idea when to hit the button! Five? Ten?

I remember that one! Very odd, it took us till at least four to get over the shock I think The audience were pretty uncertain too... until it became clear at around six that ten would be a likely target and they started getting enthusiastic again

Cheers,
Robin.

Ah - I think that was Stu's 1st ever pro show down Exeter way ?

Seem to recall getting up close and personal to some crossettes from a naughty 2" candle at that one, quite eerie being surrounded by crossettes going off all around you
