A mate of mine will be taking a video camera and shooting some stills. I'll see if I can get hold of a copy and post links on here later...

WOW! WOW! WOW! And WOW! What an awesome night! I had high hopes, but FOOK ME! Wilf Scott and Jubilee absolutely blew the roof off (if that's possible outdoors??!!) Their displays were head and shoulders above anything else I've ever seen, wish I'd videoed them now!! Well done to all involved, you really pulled all the stops out, and I can see why Wilf Scott earned the right to design the Queens golden jubilee display, and
why Jubilee took first place in Monaco!! Thanks everyone!!

Awesome displays from Jubilee and Wilf Scott. I was chatting to Wilf straight after his show, he said he hasn't designed a show for over a year - well, he's definitely not lost his touch. Both shows at times were absolutely breath-taking. It's always a real pleasure to watch a display by Andy Wiggins, he's undoubtedly one of the best designers in the world. We (Star) did suffer some electrical 'noise' issues up at the firing position due to so much electrical kit buzzing in one place. Never seen it before, hopefully never see it again, I was chuffed with the way our finale worked!

Ken, good to meet you last night

First time at Catton Hall (failed to get to the festival for the last 3 years owing to traffic, partners and tyres...) couple of shaky shows, shame Star lost the entire left hand side (or at least it looked that way) but it was the same display and i had seen from behind at Belvoir two weeks previous, hard luck chaps, so what was the cause, interference?

Wilf Scot.... fabulous! Loved the flame pot to salutes sequence and the unexpected ground maroon! Really nice to see alternative pyro in a display and a fine display it was too (excluding the commentator interrupting half way through thinking it was over P45 for that bloke in the morning!)

Jubilee were EPIC blew the crowd away literally with crisp choreography, superb material and an almighty final volley of shells!

Great night, £23 on the gate perhaps a bit steep NO beer tent! Will go again next year

Stu, nothing particularly ground breaking in terms of music, we had a mainly classical line up from Wilf finishing with God Save the Queen. Star used the same tracks as Belvoir so Guetta and Barcelona. We had a bit of Journey again

I'm shattered after working all day today, there were some interesting shells i mentally noted at the time especially the shell of shell ring shells one team used also an extremely long lasting tigertail to MC stars shell that seemed to stay in form in the sky for absolutely ages but other than that i'm having a complete mental block.

I'm really beginning to like the zero fallout coloured gerbs we are seeing more and more of, very vivid and consistent and adds another layer to the choreography ideal for punctuation.
