Was anyone at this location (Video 1 last year) and was it the same?

Yes, it was one of about five consecutive Mascletas all in the same area at around 14:00 on the 19th. It wasn’t as big as in 2008 (but still very good) I was even less impressed by the stray salute shell that bounced across the road and blasted a small hole in my leg. There were a number of sites used daily for displays all in the same area so there was never a problem finding something to do in the afternoon. Some were used in the afternoon then again in the evening.

One of the multiple use sights can be seen here YouTube - mascleta jose segrelles valencia las fallas 2008. being used on this occasion by a young team of amature pyrotechnicians. This was taken in 2008 but it was used again last year.
