Hi Guys/Gals

As you can probably guess from the username I'm Danny!

Been involved in the Epsom display Epsom Fireworks Display & Funfair - Saturday 7th November 2009 - Hook Road Arena, Epsom, Surrey for 17 years now, as designer and display manager for the last 8.

Currently working part time for Vulcan, was one of the designers of the 2009 Plymouth show, hope you enjoyed the finale! Prior to working for Vulcan I've worked for Kimbolton on the Epsom show and Imperial on the Epsom show and others.

I've got BPA level 2, and was one of the people that did the original BTEC in Fireworks at Loughborough.

In the real world I work in IT, married with one mini me!

Danny

You could, I think they ran one trial course and either one or two real courses. It was a long weekend (3 days) and had from memory about 12 people on the one I did (first real course). It was organised and taught by Tom Smith and Bill Deeker and covered very similar to what is covered in the BPA Level 2 course.

It came to be just after the shell ban and a lot of people thought it was going to be a license for cat 4, it was never going to be so the course died when that became apparent!

Don't know, they did 2 Epsom shows, both of which I worked. Also ended up assisting on Bedford River Festival for them in about 2004 maybe 2005.
