Unfortunately, I have an obsessional desire to peel off that thin protective covering you get on new on TV remote controls, LED display windows etc.
So I'd be sure to do the same on a phone!

Join the club.......nothing worse than when the corner starts peeling up etc, i know people that leave them on, and there's bubbles underneath and all sorts!!

.......but andy, the protectors mentioned, there like a second screen - slightly thicker than the packaging covers, and when there on there not easy to remove and almost become part of the screen, you wouldn't even know its there.

Get ya self an armour case and ya sorted. As for the Land Rover phone mentioned, may work but screams gimmick and marketing to me, JCB tried a few years go - they never take off.

you must have a jinx. Had mine nearly 2 years, been underwater, dropped, spends it's day in my pocket at work, on building sites etc, never gets a rest and still good as new. (under the screen protector)

Got a 3GS too, more than happy with it, does everything I need it to and more. Shall be getting sold to make way for the 4G however, removable battery, OLED & better camera is far more attractive.
