According to the Daily Telegraph, which used this headline on Friday, "Workers painted yellow lines over a squashed hedgehog rather than move it."

I read the story in the printed edition, but it's online, complete with photo, here...... Workers paint line over squashed hedgehog - Telegraph

Thinking of training a few to roll around the site picking up fusing and debris

Lol, that's not such a bad idea, although the fact that we roasted several of their mates in the bonfire might not put them in the best of moods!
