Default Christmas decorations

Is it just where I live that have gone mad, or has anyone else seen Christmas decorations going up in shops? We walked through a shop yesterday and there were isles full of decorations and cards. It ruins Christmas seeing it all starting this soon, will have to get some more fireworks to cheer myself up!

Also I see Tesco have got 1000s of chocolate tins stocked up everywhere, this is usually a time when it all starts to come out.

Curious..... normally I'd expect the shops to be putting out all the Halloween stuff before they do the Christmas stuff. Does this mean that Halloween is going to be bypassed in some places this year?

Really weird you say that 'cos I've seen several houses this last year that have still got all their external Christmas lights draped around the house...how they must fair after 12 months of wind, snow, rain and sun I don't know.

One of our local card shops has an entire wall already stocked with Christmas cards
