I didn't come to the event - was babysitting - however I have looked for fields in Kent to use (friendly farmers etc), have a world of motoring mates who live in Kent as well - found nothing previously - it's also why I think there seem to be very few shops in the region as well and those that exist keep their heads down.

Thank you to Marcus and everyone who helped to organise the event. (And for distracting the girlfriend )

It was a great night and the fireworks were amazing, made the long journey from Manchester more than worth it. Couldn't believe how long the 16" travelled skyward for.

Great to meet so many people, though judging by the messages in this topic I probably missed a whole lot of you. Hope I can catch up with you all again soon.

Oh, and a big thanks for putting up with us two old crusties at the bonfire all night. Hope we didn't subdue you young 'uns too much!

Yep, Kent is full of fields... but it's also full of miserable bu****s! I'll see what I can come up with and ask around, but not promising anything! Haha!

Think it was my fault... was shattered after driving all afternoon and working Friday night, was so relieved to actually find it! (don't ever use google maps for directions, IT'S RUBBISH!!)

Sat nav on the list for Christmas I think!!

Just to add my thanks to Marcus for a superbly oranised event
Catering brilliant Had to go back for a 2nd burger .
Cat 3 Was fairly short but very sweet !
King Hells were pretty damn impressive !
Cat 4 Excellent !
My only real disappointment was the shells
After all the hype about the 16" leading up to the event , Im afraid i that in my opinion the 2nd of the 12" shells was the best by far ! [crossettes] . I know there was an immense thud when the 16" went up but for me its about the effects , not the launch [sorry]
All said , thanks to everyone involved ! It was was my 1st bash which i did thoroughly enjoy

To be fair, we were expecting a willow brocade, which is my favorite whatever the size. Not really sure why it was changed, I was just glad that A40 managed to transport one here and get it up in the sky. No mean feat! And that shockwave rattled buildings all over a 3 mile radius

Sorry about the last minute change, we were expecting a brocade willow from our supplier but when the shells arrived on the Saturday morning the change was sprung on us.
The 12" Red falling leaves was very effected by the wind, the 12" crossette was good and I am happy that the 16" went up as well as did
A Diadem Crown to salutes is on hold for next year
