A Diadem Crown to salutes is on hold for next year
It was still a great night anyways. I really liked some of the other cat4 stuff, especially the effect at 3:27ish on here: YouTube - UKFR Autumn Warmup 2009 Cat4 and the screaming comet tails at 4:30 were so ear piercingly loud.

I was going to say that, for raw impact, the most impressive shells I've seen / heard / felt have been the 12"ers launched at the Fleece two years running a while back. I videod them and put the videos on the forum at the time. Since then TLG has pushed the videos on to YouTube and has posted forum links to them. I'm thinking, would the Diadem Crown to salutes be the 16" version of them? If so, then that would be well worth the trip to experience.

Mind you, if it is what I think it is, then it'll be an absolutely guaranteed brown trouser moment for someone if it flowerpots! I'd best be there in case a heart attack results and last rites are needed! Tell me the date now and I'll book it......

A type of spherical burst typically a willow or brocade with a center cluster of non-moving stars, normally of a contrasting color or effect. The name comes from the Latin word for "jewel".

This is the closest vid i can find but you get the idea, MUCH bigger effect tho with report finish.....

Jeff (Ambientskies) wears his... but I think that's in case he gets lost!

A great night, big cheers to Shed and family for a fantastic bit of organising.

Glad to help out Dave, I know what it's like when you end up rushed, takes all the fun out of it.

RichW, where were you? I was going to say hello!

Talk of farmer's fields and open spaces? Lol - We have them in abundance here in the 'Fens' -- No hills either
