Default Storage Rack for Roman Candles

As per title really,

Just wondered if anyone had made a storage rack for roman candles for thier container?

I was thinking of building something as the boxes simply just dont stack up very well!!

Any designs to share?

i have made slatted shelves before (like in your airing cupboard) out of 2x2 framework with 2x1 slats.
shelves can be adjustable to accomadate different size candles etc
and they let air circulate around to avoid condensation.

not wishing to put a damper on things but HSE do not like to see items stored outside of their UN cartons

Doesn't help at all, I'm afraid - the link isn't working.
With the link as it is, I get a "server not found" error message. If I take the www. out, I get a BBC "page not found" message. That's when I tried yesterday and again today.

Anyway, what you describe sounds like a wine rack.
Mind you, I'm also of the understanding that the candles should be stored in their UN cartons, making a "wine rack" style storage system unnecessary.

Never really seen an issue with cartons not stacking providing the box integrity remains good

however, to answer the original poster, we use a racking as shelving however we still encounter problems with candles, some of the boxes are just so flaming big (Ricassa etc) and as soon as you take a few out they just wont keep shape when stacked.

This is the exact problem we have,

When you have a box of 50mm candles and take say half out and you have another box of 50mm on top it just crumples. Even With smaller ones we have the same problem In the container its just wasted space above.

Kimbolton did indeed have racks..... but maybe they get round the UN carton problem if its an HSE registered store or made by themselves? I dont know.

But if they are stored safely i cant see them having much problem. Could also make the rack big enough to accommodate cartons, but with enough space to seperate them so they dont have to sit on top of each other.

Just wondered what everyone else did?!
