Welcome to the UK Firework Awards, celebrating the very best of the UK fireworks industry between 2003 and 2007. These awards are published by the UK Firework Review (UKFR), the UK’s biggest fireworks website, and ran for five seasons from 2003 through to 2007.
Voting was open to anyone who uses or enjoys fireworks in the UK. They gave recognition to the best fireworks, the best firework brand, the best fireworks retailer, the best fireworks shop, the best commercial fireworks website, the best firework event and more.
Thank you to everyone who took the time and trouble to vote. The winners have the prestigious honour of being voted the BEST by the UK public, firework enthusiasts and UK Firework Review members.

BEST FIREWORK RETAILER
The Firework Store, Wakefield
The Firework Store win this award for the first time, and deservedly so. Voters praised an excellent range of fireworks, keen pricing, knowledgeable staff, friendly service and that all important customer service particularly with regards to deliveries throughout the UK.

Well done to Fireworks Arcade on maintaining second place for another year in this tightly-fought category.
Third place: The Firework Emporium
Well done to The Firework Emporium on achieving third place in this tightly-fought category.
BEST FIREWORK SHOP
Newsbox Fireworks, Loughton
It was only a matter of time before Newsbox Fireworks of Loughton in Essex scooped an award in this category – and they’ve won it! Stocking the best fireworks from the best brands with added discounted pricing sees customers visit from all over the UK. Voters remarked on the enthusiastic service from staff dedicated to fireworks with great deals on offer too.

BEST COMMERCIAL FIREWORK WEBSITE

Well done to The Firework Emporium for winning this award for the third year running. Their website was voted best with their on-line video, simple design and humorous non-politically correct descriptions yet again receiving positive comments.

Kimbolton successfully defend their prestigious Best Brand award. Good build quality, reliability and top class effects are reasons you said you thought they were the best. They have now won this award for an incredible FOUR YEARS running despite increasing competition.

BEST GARDEN FIREWORK

Kimbolton successfully defend their Best Cat 2 Award, with Jumping Jelly Beans fountain taking the glory this year. But check out the results below, a staggering hat-trick for them! This company packs more into the garden classification than anyone else.

BEST FIREWORK EVENT
Plymouth Fireworks Championships
An extended programme this year (the “Champion of Champions”) helped the UK’s major fireworks competition scoop Best Event. Quality shows, a good location but best of all it’s free. Well done to the organisers and competitors.
Runner up: St. Georges Competition
Well done to the less formal St. George amateur competition for achieving second place, thanks to a hearty vote by satisfied UKFR members and friends.
Third place: Reign's pre-GFN Bash
Another UKFR member event, well done to Reign whose event beat the likes of Southport and Shugborough this year.
