Contacting UKFR

As of May 2023, and after nearly 25 years, I have now finally retired my “Contact Me” form.

Unfortunately, 99.9% of messages being sent through it were spam and other nefarious content. The increasing sophistication of spammers and AI means that it’s just a continual game of “whack a mole” with no end in sight.

Of the few messages each month which were genuine, most were asking questions that, with some actual effort, could be answered by reading the guides and articles here.

I am not currently taking on any new Sponsors or advertisers, and my Forum is currently a private community which is not accepting new members.

On the subject of my Forum, to be clear for those messaging me about it:

If you do not already have an account, you cannot register, as I am not accepting new members for the time being. Should that change, I will update the Forum accordingly.

If you had an account which has been closed for not posting, as per the notice displayed, it’s because you’ve made no contribution at all to the community while you were registered. My focus moving forwards is on existing members who are actively posting. If you’re not happy with that, please keep in mind that zero posting members, by definition, have never welcomed a new member, contributed to a thread asking for help, shared a stash shot, thanked a Sponsor, shared photos or video of their display and so on. I think you can see where I am coming from.

If you’re a Forum member with an active account, you can easily send me a private message there if you need to reach me. 

If you’re a member of the fireworks trade – or about to become one – and need help with storage and selling regulations and such like, please refer to your local Trading Standards (who will issue your licenses), or your wholesale supplier, for up to date guidance.
